What are the levels of IPMA Competence?

The assessment steps for individuals are applied to each of the IPMA competence level A, level B, level C and level D. When candidates meet the competence requirements, they can apply directly for the desired Level.

Originally started as an international network to exchange project management experiences, the organisation developed into global organisation in the 1970s, organising courses and events. In 1996 the organisation was renamed as IPMA, International Project Management Association, and started it certification activities.

Where has IPMA grown?

IPMA has spread from Europe to Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Australia, and North and South America. The demand for our products and services and the number of our Member Associations is steadily growing.
